Busse is GFW’s Triple A Award winner

Brynn Busse is the 2023 Triple A Award Winner for girls at GFW. Brynn was also selected by the Region 2 Committee as the Region 2 – Sub-Section 7 Girls winner. She was one of four girls recognized by Region 2A.
The Triple A Award recognizes senior student-athletes for their outstanding efforts in the Academics, Arts and Athletics. Brynn carries a 4.058 GPA. Brynn has immersed herself in a number of College-in-the- Schools classes and done so at a very high level. Brynn is a member of the band, jazz band and pop choir. She has also made time for theater, participating in three musicals and a play during her HS career. Brynn is a three-sport athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball and track and field. She has earned a total of 12 letters in these sports and has been named to multiple All-Conference Teams in volleyball and basketball. Brynn has recently been invited to participate in the Senior All-Star Basketball Game (where only 10 seniors from Class A are selected). This event is presented by the MN Girls Basketball Coaches Association.
Brynn also finds time to lead the GFW student council as their president. She is a member of the NHS. During the basketball season, she and her teammates visit the elementary school each week as part of the PALS program. Outside of school, Brynn volunteers as a coach for our fourth/fifth grade traveling basketball team and assists with other youth volleyball and basketball camps.
Brynn will be attending Southwest Minnesota State University – Marshall next year. She will be majoring in Exercise Science and Nutrition while Minoring in Business. She will be a member of the SMSU Women’s Basketball Team.
