Winthrop Council supports vibrant school

The Winthrop City Council passed a resolution supporting a continued success of the local GFW School system.
Council woman Megan Schmidt proposed changes to the original resolution which was passed by a 4-1 vote. Council woman Jenny O’Connor voted against as she was in favor of the original resolution.
The resolution focuses on the economic impact of having a strong school district for children in the area to attend.
