Miner receives Honorary Commadore Award

Bob Miner was this year’s recipient of the Minneapolis Aquatennial Honorary Commodore Award at the Miss Winthrop Coronation on Thursday evening. Presenting the honor to Miner were Princess Sydney Trautman of Delano and Commodore Jason DeKeuster. Miner was not present when he was announced as the recipient as he was driving the bus for the softball team and taking people home afterwards who did not have transportation. He arrived at coronation just before it concluded so the Aquatennial representative were able to present him the award in front of the crowd. Photo by Michael Mattison
