Filings for city and school offices

Many public offices are open in the area for the general election in November and filing for those offices closed on Tuesday, Aug. 13. As of 3 p.m. on Monday, here are the people who have filed for office in the cities of Winthrop, Gibbon and Lafayette as well as the GFW School District.
