Winthrop welcomes Eickschen as new police officer

There is a new facing wearing the badge for the Winthrop Police Department.
On June 24, Nick Eickschen started his duties serving on the Police Department.
He is originally from the Delano-Watertown area. He attended Mayer Lutheran High School and then moved to Iowa to attend college and earned a four-year degree in criminal justice.
“That is when I realized I wanted the small-town atmosphere going forward,” he said.
