Much activity anticipated in the park

During the spring and summer, residents of Winthrop will be seeing a lot of activity in the park concerning upgrades and additions.
City Administrator Michael Looft updated the City Council on the new additions that will be going into the park this year.
The first is the Veterans Memorial near the south entrance of the park. There is already the tank, flags and a garden area there, but a new feature will be added very soon.
