Students participate in Honor Band

Six members of the GFW band were selected to the MSU Mankato Honor Band. Director Nicholas Berg nominated the musicians and they were selected by the MSU faculty.
Jennifer Guzman, Ellison Fitzpatrick, Kalli Aden, Lara Stegeman, Adrian Soliz and Caidyn Suess participated in an event at MSU on January 17.
The students received and prepared their music before the event.
They spent the day alternating between full band rehearsals and section rehearsals led by MSU faculty and students. The day ended with a concert that included some well known music like Wicked, Baba Yetu, and How to Train Your Dragon.
