New uses for former Lafayette Good Sam

Built 66 years ago as a nursing home, converted to assisted living 25 years ago, then being a thrift store and coffee shop, the Lafayette Good Samaritan building has “seen it all.
Well, not quite.
It’s now undergoing its newest conversion, this time into rental apartments, a B&B and a game center.
It hasn’t been easy. New owner Joe Robertson has already hauled out eight huge dumpster loads of “stuff.”
