Two GFW FFA  members are state proficiency finalists

GFW Pioneer Express FFA chapter members Edan Messerli and Carson Lee are state finalist for proficiency awards.
They have been selected as a state finalist in their proficiency area. Their proficiency award application notes their record-keeping and experience in their supervised agricultural experience (SAE). FFA members have SAEs to demonstrate skills and concepts learned in the school setting. The applicants at the regional level were selected as regional winners and moved on to state competition, where their applications were evaluated and scored against other FFA members in the state in their respective categories. As a finalist, they are in the top three places in the state.
The proficiency winners will be revealed in the third general session of the 2026 Minnesota FFA State Convention.
Lee is a State Finalist for his Grain Production Proficiency and Messerli is a State Finalist for her Agriculture Education Proficiency.
