Restocking of Clear Lake underway

Final touches are being done at Clear Lake south of Gibbon as the restocking of the lake has begun. On April 1, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources harvested pre-spawn perch in Ortonville which were released into Clear Lake. In about a week, another release of perch will take place. Next month, the plan is to release a large amount of walleye into Clear Lake. Earlier this year on February 13, the planks in the Clear Lake Dam were put back in place to start refilling the lake.
