Gunnars Bar and Restaurant open for business

A new restaurant opened its doors in Winthrop. Gunnars Bar and Restaurant is located at the intersection of Main Street and 2nd Street in the former Hahn’s Dining and Lounge.
Brandon Brooks and Jordan opened the establishment on April 24.
Gunnars is named after their dog.
Brandon said that the business happened to be for sale. “We started talking about it in town and we lived here. We just kind of said lets go for it.”
Gunnars serves a variety of burgers and sandwiches, pizza, wraps, salads and appetizers. They also serve desserts.
There is a full bar and music playing in the background. There are pool tables, dart machines and many televisions for entertainment.
