Oddities and tchotchkes abound at Crazy Haze’s

Are you looking for something out of the ordinary? You might want to stop at Crazy Haze’s in downtown Winthrop.
Tom Hazelmyer comes from Hopkins and has brought his collection of items to Winthrop. He had planned to open in December but a health issue postponed the opening until April.
Crazy Haze’s is open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“This whole thing started with me looking for storage space,” he said. “I was spending a fortune up in the Cities for a couple of storage lockers for multiple businesses and stuff over the years. I’ve been a heavy collector of various things.
“I found this for storage and I was looking at this front space thinking this would be sweet spot for a strange shop.”
