Gibbon City Council agrees to amend liquor ordinance
by Doug Hanson
Ashvin Papel, a representative of Fill Me Up, presented plans for remodeling the convenience store in Gibbon at the January city council meeting last Wednesday. The plans include a separate liquor store in the location where the old laundry mat was located in the building.
No decision was made on whether or not to allow another license for an off sale liquor store, but the Gibbon City Council agreed to start the process to amend its ordinance to allow for other licenses if it decides to grant a license.
