Susan Fenske

Susan Fenske, age 55, of Mankato, formerly Nicollet passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Northridge Care Center in New Hope, Minnesota. Private Family Burial will be held at a later date in the Winthrop Cemetery.

Susan Ann Fenske was born on April 29, 1968, in Arlington, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Dean and Mavis (Harder) Fenske. Susan was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both at Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop. She received her education in Winthrop and was a graduate of the Winthrop High School Class of 1987. She furthered her education at Cosmetology School in Mankato.
Susan was a longtime resident of Nicollet. She was the owner of Nicollet Hair Designers and was a member of the Nicollet Chamber of Commerce.
Susan enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
When she needed assistance with her care, Susan became a resident of Northridge Care Center in New Hope on February 14, 2023, and passed away there on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the age of 55 years. Blessed be her memory.
Susan is survived by her: Father, Dean Fenske and his wife, Cindy of Morgan, MN; Brother, David Fenske and his wife, Debra of Hutchinson, MN; Special Friend, James Jackson of Mankato, MN; Sister-in-law, Lori Fenske of Winthrop, MN; Nephews and Nieces, Tylor (Trisha), Cegi (Joseph), Cindy (Mac), Brenda (Nathan) and Dan (Brittani).
Susan was preceded in death by her Mother, Mavis Fenske; Brother, Darwin Fenske, Aunt, Shirley Wendinger; Uncle, Marvel “Butch” Harder; Cousin, Mark Wendinger.
