Help pick the new GFW mascot

At the last school board meeting, Director Emilee Stehr reviewed a GFW Logo survey that will be used to determine the mascot name. The logo must be changed by September 1st, 2025.
Stehr stated that after many meetings and many discussions, GFW is keeping its emblem and school colors, but are giving the bird a new name.  Now the school wants to hear from the public.
The survey is now open and ends May 3rd. You must go online and answer all three questions, which includes your name, email address and phone number.
There are nine options to choose from. They are Falcon, Fire Hawks, Firebirds, Hawks, Mighty Birds, Phoenix, Raptors, Red Hawks and River Hawks. The only place you can take the survey is on the school website.
