Remodeling project will close Lafayette Post Office for a month

Remodeling of the Lafayette Post Office will be nice when it’s done but—in the meantime—will cause some disruptions.
Lafayette Postal Clerk Rachelle Petrick—and local users—are looking forward to a new post office interior.
According to Petrick, the building will be locked starting Saturday, June 1, with work to begin Monday, June 3. Interior contents will be removed and the wall around the work area removed.
