Martin opens up The Lavender Boutique

“The boutique started coming to life in my head in January,” said Amy Martin.
The Lavender Boutique opened on October 24.
The Boutique offers womens’ apparel and accessories, including purses and shoes. There is also gift items including baby items, kitchen supplies, coffee and honey. She said people have been coming in looking for gifts because it is Christmas time but those gifts range from all the items in the boutique.
“I like all aspects of lavender-the smell, the color, the plant. I could use all five senses. It was my great grandma and my grandma’s favorite color. It just fit,” she said of the name for the boutique.
