Wortz inducted into GFW Booster Hall of Fame

On Wednesday evening, Chris Wortz was inducted into the GFW Booster Club Hall of Fame. Due to scheduling conflicts, Sam Stresemann will be inducted on Saturday, June 21, at the Booster Club golf tournament in Fairfax.
Wortz has been a volleyball coach at GFW since 2003, taking off just a couple of years during the stretch. She started as the B-Squad coach for two years and then moved up to the varsity position for 11 years. She took three years off and returned as a co-head coach from 2018 to 2021 and has been coaching the GFW junior high since then.
