Splash pad is ready

Let the fun begin. The State Health Department inspected the splash pad on June 24 and the splash pad was approved for public play that same day. City Administrator Michael Looft said there are a few things that the inspector would like fixed, including ensuring that the UV light disinfectant remains running and in operations even if the machine isn’t spraying water. Currently the UV Light is set to operate an hour before and after operation per the MDH inspection details. A grand opening is being planned during Farm City Fun Fest. Photo contributed
