Gibbon welcomes Grace & Frankie

by Maggie Buettner
It’s time to meet Grace and Frankie! Grace & Frankie’s Pub opened on February 1st, 2024, formerly known as Shooters Bar on Main Street in Gibbon.
Leah Weinzierl, also know as Grace, grew up in Waconia. Her hobbies include horseback riding, motorcycling, softball, reading a good book, fishing, spending time with her granddaughter, and arts and crafts. She previously owned a pet sitting and dog training business in Waconia for fourteen years and trained dogs for twenty years. She added, “I have always bartended part-time here and there over thirty-five years. I have always enjoyed small town living. I have friends in Arlington, Green Isle and Redwood Falls and of course Waconia. About four years ago, I looked at three houses in Gibbon and always thought it was a friendly town.”
Shelly Stubbs, also known as Frankie, lives in Mayer with her husband, Curt. She has worked as a CNA for thirty-seven years and still does in Waconia. She is in Gibbon every other week for four days to help out and be a part of the community. She enjoys fishing, camping, reading, knitting and horseback riding.
