Council to meet first Monday of month, purchase vehicles

Dates for the Winthrop City Council are changing once again and are now finalized as the first Monday of every month. That change was unanimously approved by the City Council at its May meeting on May 20. The meetings will still begin at 7 p.m. with the open public forum not being part of the meeting and beginning at 6:45 p.m. This will take effect for the June 3 meeting.
