Groundbreaking for splash pad

The splash pad in Winthrop City Park is now on its way to becoming reality this summer as there was a groundbreaking earlier this month. On site with shovels were Katie Gran, Samantha Kral, Tracy Kehr and Brianna Pagel who have been instrumental in getting the splash pad in the park. Work from the west side of the park continuing to the splash pad location is underway but rains are making it difficult.
