Hog feedlot proposal goes to Commissioners without recommendation

After an hour of hearing public comment and asking questions, no definitive decision was made by the Sibley County Planning and Zoning commission at a public hearing Monday evening.

The hearing was set to hear public comment on two proposed hog feedlots in rural Winthrop. The vote was split 3-3 and the decision now falls to the Sibley County Commissioners which now has no recommendation as a guide.
