CITY OF WINTHROP ORDINANCE NUMBER 2020-143 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 201.09 OF THE WINTHROP CITY CODE FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND MAYOR The City Council of the City of Winthrop Ordains: Section I. The Winthrop City Code, Section 201.09, is hereby amended to read: 201.09 Salaries of Mayor and Councilors. Effective January 1, 2021, the salary of the Mayor shall be $2,500 per year and the salary of each Councilor shall be $2,000 per year. There shall be no additional compensation for special meetings, work sessions or committee meetings. This ordinance becomes effective from and after its passage and publication.
