Woman shot multiple times early Monday

At approximately 12:15 a.m. on Monday, the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an assault involving a firearm on the 300 block of West Third Street in Winthrop. When responding to the call, law enforcement found an adult female in her early twenties with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Sibley County Sheriff’s office. She has been identified at Jessica Holtz, 23, of Winthrop.
