Delbert Kramer
Delbert J. Kramer, age 87 of Gibbon passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Fairfax Community Home. Funeral service were held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9th, 2020 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon with Pastor Steven Bauer officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Social distancing guidelines must be practiced at all times, and all guests in attendance at the visitation and funeral were required to wear a mask. Delbert is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Bruns, Deloris (Demar) Barfnecht; brother, Oliver (Betty) Kramer and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Leorda (Elmer) Klukus; Brother-in-law, Edwin Bruns; nephews, Kevin Kramer and his niece Janelle Kramer. Delbert John Kramer was born August 7, 1933 in New Ulm to John and Hertha (Fenske) Kramer. He graduated from Gibbon High School in 1951. After high school Delbert enlisted into the United States Army. Delbert farmed his entire life in Gibbon and after he retired from farming he was a black jack dealer at Jackpot Junction for 18 years. He was an active member at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. Delbert enjoyed playing cards and loved to garden and visit with people especially his family. He will be greatly missed.
