AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SALE OF 203 S. RENVILLE STREET, CITY OF WINTHROP The City Council of the City of Winthrop Ordains: Whereas, The City of Winthrop owns real property located in the Winthrop Industrial Park in the City of Winthrop, legally described as: Parcel ID 37.0671.110, .26 acres, legally described as: That part of the NE 1/ 4 of Section 6, Township 112, Range 29, Sibley County, Minnesota, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of Section 32, Township 113, Range 29; thence running South a distance of 75 feet and thence West parallel with the North line of said NE 1/4 a distance of 165 feet to the place of beginning; thence South 222 feet; thence West 50 feet; thence North 222 feet; thence East 50 feet to the place of beginning; Parcel ID 37.0671.100, .76 acres, legally described as: Commencing at the southwest corner of Section 32, Township 113, Range 29, Sibley County, Minnesota; thence North 89 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds West along the south line of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 112, Range 29, 165.00 feet; thence South 00 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds West 75.00 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of Trunk Highway 19 to the point of beginning of the tract to be described; thence continuing South 00 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds West 259.44 feet to a point on a 130.00 foot radius curve, the center of circle of said curve bears South 9 degrees 48 minutes 19 seconds East from said point; thence Southwesterly along said curve, on arc length of 55.90 feet, central angle 24 degrees 38 minutes 14 seconds, thence North 36 degrees 16 minutes 00 seconds West 350.50 feet to the southerly right-of-way line of said Trunk Highway No. 19; Thence South 89 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds East along said right-of-way line 261.00 feet to the point of beginning; except the North 222.00 feet of the East 50.00 feet of said tract; Whereas, Dale Jackson and Cindy Jackson have offered to purchase said real property and the City of Winthrop wishes to accept this offer; Whereas, the terms of the sale of the property by the City to Dale Jackson and Cindy Jackson is detailed in a separate purchase agreement approved by the City Council; and Whereas, Section 11.05 of the Winthrop City Charter requires all sales of real property to be approved by ordinance BASED ON THE ABOVE: The Winthrop City Council, through this ordinance hereby approved the sale of PID 37.0671.100 and PID 37.0671.110 to Dale Jackson and Cindy Jackson based on the terms and conditions outlined in the purchase agreement. This ordinance becomes effective from and after its passage and publication. Passed by the City Council of the City of Winthrop this 6th day of July, 2020.
