Council approved Wickenhauser to fill vacant seat

Dawn Wickenhauser was approved by the Winthrop City Council in a 4-0 vote Monday evening to fill the vacant City Council position left open by the resignation of Dale Malheim last month. Two candidates emerged for final interviews before the Council Monday. Wickenhauser was asked questions about why she was interested in serving on the Council and the roles and responsibilities of a council person.
