Ted Ulrich and his lawyer Roger Hippert of New Ulm asked the Lafayette City Council for a simple lot division of the former Lafayette Charter School property at its regular August meeting. The east portion of the lot, which will just less that half the property will include the Charter School building and the playground. The west section will then be available for development. Access to the west section would be guaranteed by the creation of a permanent easement for access and utilities. The property is currently in a Residential Zoning District.
