GFW School Board sets new school referendum vote for April 11
by Doug Hanson
The GFW School Board held a special meeting on Monday evening to address the facilities issues and decide on a plan for moving forward. After an hour and half presentation and discussion, the Board approved a motion on a 4-1 vote to ask the voters for a new school centrally located. (Board members Mike Kuehn, Jason Haas, Marissa Lee and Casey Prochniak voted in favor, while Dan Merkel voted against. Board Director Drew Schmidt had a previous commitment and could not attend the meeting.)
