Thunderbirds lose overtime thriller

A last-second shot propelled the GFW Thunderbirds into overtime against Truman/Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain but the T-Birds would fall 61-58.

Ashton Buboltz got things started for the T-Birds and Brayden Rubendall knocked down a three-pointer giving the T-Birds an early 5-4 lead. The next seven minutes belonged to T/ML/GHEC it outscored the T-Birds 15-4 to take a 19-9 lead.
