Gibbon Council discusses school referendum

It was noted at the Gibbon City Council meeting on May 2nd that the GFW land committee was researching land options for the new school. The committee currently consists of Directors Jason Haas and Dan Merkel, but may increase to three school board directors.
City Administrator Dana Lietzau stated that the school district was doing soil probing on a variety of properties in or near Gibbon. She added that she was again asked about the city’s infrastructure and whether the City was interested in selling the former football field.
