God’s Treasures preparing for move to new location

by Michael Mattison
In the age of single-parent homes and those where both parents work, finding child care is a necessity. There are several providers in Winthrop but the need for more is still there.
God’s Treasures is currently remodeling the former Good Samaritan Center—Winthrop facility in order to expand and hopefully fill the need.
God’s Treasurers has been operating out of the Sunday School rooms at Zion Lutheran Church for the past 13 years.
The hope was to open the new child care facility in January of 2024 but a more realistic date will be about March.
