NOTICE OF BID
Independent School District No. 2365, Gibbon, Minnesota, is presently soliciting competitive “Prime Contract Bids” for Gibbon, Fairfax, Winthrop Public Schools ISD #2365 New PK-12 School – Multiple Work Scope Packages. Sealed bids will be received electronically through Building Connected using the following link:

Bids will be received until 2:00PM local time, on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at which time they will be publicly tabulated for review, please join us for a Zoom at the following link:

All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid receipt without consent of the Owner. Each bidder shall accompany the Bid Form with a bid security as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids.
This project involves multiple work scope packages for a new PK-12 school and surrounding athletic field development. This 158,000 SF facility includes 101,000 SF of new classroom and administration space for students, as well as multiple specialty learning and flex spaces. Some of these include a 6,000 SF space for CTE/Ag Sciences, a 1,600 SF Auto Shop, a 9,300 SF Performing Arts center, as well as 16,000 SF of music and locker room spaces that are also being designed and constructed as a storm shelter space for students and staff. Also included on the interior of the building is 24,000 SF of new gymnasium space able to be configured for multiple athletic configurations and sporting events. The surrounding exterior site will include supporting parking lots and infrastructure, a new varsity sports athletic stadium with running track as well as numerous fields for competition and practice for the school and surrounding community.
No pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled at this time. The site is available to visit at contractor convenience. If you are interested in visiting the site prior to bid please notify Brian Johnson at contact information below.

Bidding Documents will be available for inspection at the office of the Construction Manager and the office of the Architect: ISG Group; as well as several Builder’s Exchanges: MHC Dodge Plans, MEDA, Mid-Minnesota, South Central, Rochester, Southwest, Mankato, and MBEX.
