Invitation to Bid
The City of Winthrop hereby invites sealed bids for the purchase of a used 1989 Ford L-9000 Fire Tanker. The vehicle details are as follows:

• Mileage: 11,500 miles
• Engine: 240 horsepower Cummins
• Tank Capacity: 3000 Gallons, stainless steel with baffles
• Dump Capacity: 2x 10” dumps
• Water Intake: 3” inlet and 2” inlet
• Pump: 3” Honda Pump (purchased and installed in 2014)
• Additional Features: 3000 Gallon drop tank on the side
• Tires: New in 2014, in “like new” condition
• Maintenance: General maintenance performed by LB’s Repair
• Weight Rating: 18,000lb front axle
Included Equipment:
• Siren/Light Bar
Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the vehicle prior to submitting bids. The vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied.
Bidding Process:
• Sealed bids must be submitted to the City Administrator’s Office no later than March 22, 2024.
• Bids must be clearly marked “Bid for 1989 Ford L-9000 Fire Tanker”.
• Bidders must include their contact information along with the bid.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City.

BISMARCK TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given to the citizens of Bismarck Township, Sibley County, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Township Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 at 7pm at St. Francis Catholic Church, 510 Brown Street North, Winthrop, MN 55396 to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. In case of inclement weather, the meeting may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.
