Homecoming Week at GFW

This week GFW will be celebrating Homecoming Week. Candidates were announced last week. Front row, from left to right- Maddy Lee, Cheyenne Schmidt, Trinity Stearns, Ashlynn Hubred and Eden Messerli. Back row-Easton Taylor, Dominic Krumwiede, Carter Klages, Layton Uecker-Hamre and William Bastian. Dress up days for the week-Monday-Class Colors Day; Tuesday-Generations Day; Wednesday-Cars Day; Thursday-Superheros vs Princesses; Friday-Spirit Day. Monday was also Meet the Candidates, powder puff football game and the parade. Thursday will be the elementary school pep fest at 2 p.m. and the cream puff volleyball games. Friday will be the pep fest at the high school at 9 a.m. with coronation part of the pep fest. The Homecoming dance will be held after the football game. Photo contributed
