What should be done with the current GFW buildings

by Doug Hanson
Superintendent Kelly Smith reached out to the Gibbon and Winthrop city administrators for input on what to do when the current school buildings are empty. On Monday, Nov. 4, at the GFW work session, Smith stated that the discussion led to an online survey to get feedback from the communities. At this point neither community has had much discussion on the current buildings.
The survey that was shown included asking whether the persons living in the community or in a township. Also, whether the person was a parent, community or staff member.
