Three Troop 2 Scouts attain Eagle rank

Lafayette Boy Scout Troop 2 added three names to its impressive list of Eagle Scouts at a Court of Honor December 13 at the Lafayette Community Center. It was just a year ago that the troop had recognized its two most recent Eagle Scouts—after a drought of ten years.
The new Eagles are Garret Schmidt of Winthrop and Justin and Darren Messner of Gibbon. Scouts from Winthrop and Gibbon have joined Lafayette troop in recent years—while Cub Scouts from Lafayette now take part in Pack 13 at Gibbon/ Winthrop.
