GFW School Board discusses budget reductions

The GFW School Board received its first look at possible budget reduction for the coming school year. No action was taken on these programs, final decisions will be made in upcoming meetings. The budget needs to be approved by June 30th.
The District has openings in special education due to retirements and resignations. The proposal includes that a special education position will be eliminated, saving $60,000 per year.
