Hazardous waste collection in Winthrop

Tri-County household hazardous waste collection for the residents of Sibley, Nicollet and LeSueur counties was held in Winthrop on Thursday, April 17, at the Sibley County Highway garage. There was a nice line-up of vehicles waiting their turn to dispense of their household hazardous wastes. Several workers helped those who brought items unload their vehicles while others put those wastes into an appropriate bin for later disposal. Photos by Michael Mattison
