CALL TO ORDER
The regular board meeting of the GFW Public School Board was held on April 21, 2025 at the Elementary School Gibbon, MN. Chair Miller called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
ALSO present: Superintendent Smith, Tech Werner, Grosam, Acre, Staff , Stehr, Turtle, Briese, Press Hanson, Student Reps; Eden Messerli & Skylar Lima
Absent: None
APPROVE AGENDA
Acree moved with support from Stehr to approve the agenda with the addition of a Special Meeting under Resolutions and Action Items. Motion Carried
CONSENT AGENDA
Grosam moved with support from Acree to approve the consent agenda. Motion Carried
RESOLUTIONS AND ACTION ITEMS
Recommend Motion for Approval of OpenEd Contract for 2025-20286
Acree moved with support from Turtle to approve the OpenEd Contract for 2025-20286 . Motion Carried
Review 2025-26 Budget Assumptions
Review Budget Reductions/ Adjustments for 2025-26
Recommend Motion to Approve Donation Resolution
Grosam moved with support from Stehr to approve the donation of $250.00 from Gibbon Lions to T-Bird Club and a $30.00 anonymous donation to the Community Bus.

No – None Motion Carried
Recommend May 5, 2025 Special Meeting
Briese moved with support from Grosam to have a Special Meeting on May 5, 2025. Motion Carried
ADJOURNMENT
Grosam moved with support from Turtle to adjourn at 7:12 p.m. Motion Carried

Briese moved with support from Turtle to approve the Proposed Property Tax Abatement for Parking Lot Improvement Project and call for Public Hearing

No – None Motion Carried
