GFW musicians perform well at solos and ensembles contest

Several GFW musicians received superior and excellent ratings at the solo and ensemble contest which was held March 12. In band, the Percussion Ensemble (right) received a Superior rating; Ellison Fitzpatrick (solo) Superior; Isaac Vos and Mirra Sjogren (duet) Superior (best on-site); Megan Hacker, Shaylah Clobes and Josie Schwarzrock (trio), Excellent; Megan Hacker (solo) Excellent; Kenadee Fitzpatrick (solo) Excellent; Kal Aden (solo) Excellent and Noah Stancek (solo): Excellent. Jazz band also received a superior rating. In Choir, the pop choir received a superior rating and Kal Aden did as well for her solo. Photos by Michael Mattison
