Vos selected to All-State Band

Isaac Vos was recently selected to the All-State Band. The audition process began in the fall when materials become available and the musician’s videos were due in February. “It seems like a long time, but auditions consist of a rigorous scale exercise and a difficult etude,” said GFW Band Director Nicholas Berg. Vos will attend All State camp at Concordia Moorhead in July, working with some of the finest music educators in the state and end the camp with a concert on August 1. Then he will perform at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis during the Minnesota Music Educators’ Convention on February 20.
