Firebirds take care of business in 20-0 win over Mayer Lutheran

Things went pretty much according to plan for the GFW Firebirds football team as it hosted Mayer Lutheran and came away with a 20-0 victory.
The game started out well for the Firebirds as Garrett Stegeman ran for eight yards, Owen Swenson for seven and Regie Mattes for 11 before Mason Ahlbrecht took one to the house from 39 yards out. Matthew Lee added the two-point conversion and GFW led 8-0.
