Firebirds sweep three games this week

It was a great week to be a GFW Firebirds boys basketball fan as the team put three notches in the win column.
The Firebirds opened the week with a 96-62 victory over Cedar Mountain.
The first eight minutes of the game were tightly contested with GFW holding a 15-14 lead. Then Matthew Lee scored in the post on an assist from Cole Jacobson who then knocked down consecutive three-pointers. After a Cedar Mountain basket, Lee hit a free throw and Kaden Rieke and Lee each added layups for a 28-16 lead.
