Lorna Kuphal
Lorna Kuphal, age 88, of Gaylord passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held. Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.
Lorna June Kuphal was born on June 21, 1936, in Dawson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Merle and Maggie (Willroth) Rowland. Lorna was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She graduated from Gaylord High School.
On January 21, 1956, Lorna was united in marriage to Albert “Albie” Kuphal at the United Church of Christ in Gaylord. After their marriage, the couple resided in Gaylord. They were blessed with six children. Lorna was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Lorna and Albie shared 48 years of marriage when Albie passed away on April 4, 2004.
Lorna was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord.
Lorna enjoyed playing cards, baking, embroidering, bowling, coffee with friends, and all the children that passed through her daycare. She cherished the time she spent with her family.
Lorna passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe at the age of 88 years. Blessed be her memory.
