Thunderbirds remain unbeaten with win over Medford
The GFW Thunderbird football team maintained is unbeaten status with a win on the road against Medford 44-6 on Friday evening. As has been a theme throughout the season, the T-Birds struck first. Starting on its own 20-yard line, Treay Taylor and Jacob Rose ripped off runs of nine yards for a first down. After a short gain, Taylor and Jack Panitzke would each carry the ball for 18 yard runs. Panitzke’s 6-yard gain would set up the first score as Taylor scored from 18 yards out. Brody Hentges connected with Ashton Buboltz for two two-point conversion.
