Thunderbird volleyball to take the court Tuesday

The GFW Thunderbird volleyball team is coming off an 8-17 season and 2-6 in the Tomahawk Conference last season.
The T-Birds have a wealth of athletes returning that saw quite a bit of floor time last year.
“I will look to our incoming seniors to be our leaders on and off the floor: Taylor Schafer, Marti Jacobson, Katelyn Beranek, Jenna Schweiss, Halle Bleick, Tyla Matray, and Bella Treblhorn,” said Coach Imia Mages. “This will be Katelyn Beranek’s second year leading our offense, she brings a sense of calm and stability to our floor and is one we can consistently count on behind the serving line. Schafer, Bleick, Schweiss, Jacobson, and Junior, Trinity Stearns, are also returning varsity athletes that are versatile offensive and defensive players whose depth will play a valuable role in our season.”
